CТ-S3T STD lift series
Steel Sectioned Towers with Lift
CT-S3T series tower is designed for installation on stationary open areas in a temperature range from -40°C to +50°C and lifting of the antenna with a loading capacity up to 400 kg on height up to 50 m.
The main element of CT-S3T series tower is a lifting machine, which is a rigid welded 3m high triangular shape structure serving to lift up and down, as well as holding the load of standard CT-S3T tower sections in the intermediate position. This tower is a replica of the famous Soviet army signal corps legacy communications tower «Unzha», which still remains very popular among a wide range of domestic users.
Tower sections are placed on the special carriage platform inside the machine-lift and can be moved up and down by means of a manual drive (mechanical winch) equipped with brake for blocking the return stroke (ratchet). Optionally, a mechanical winch can be replaced with an electric one.
Furthermore, a lifting machine meets similar high requirements as its ancestor (i.e. Mil. Std.), hence it has to be properly guyed relative to the ground, as it is subject to the loads applied to the entire tower structure.
