Inside a Telecom Switch Room, a large quantity of medium heavy equipment will be installed (telecom switchgear cabinets, UPS with batteries, rectifiers etc). Thick and heavy cables will supply the units with electrical power. Different sizes (foot prints) of the equipment will make standard 600x600 mm raised floor panels inconvenient to use.

In this type of premise, our ComFloor is the most preferred system.

ComFloor consists of an independent, heavy-duty, bolted framework, with full flexibility to accommodate different kinds and sizes of equipment. Future expansion can easily be done by adding new support profiles under the floor panels.

The floor heights used for ComFloor in Telecom Switch Rooms are usually 300-500 mm. The floor can be designed for any floor height between 300-2400 mm.

The standard Uniform Distributed Load capacity is 10 kN/m2. When heavy equipment is to be installed, additional reinforcement up to 60 kN/m2 (6000 kg/m2) can be added.

Normally, a laminated panel consisting of High-Density Chipboard is used in these types of applications, where the main criteria for the surface is a wear-resistant and light appearance.

The standard sizes of the panel are 800x600 and 600x600 mm. Upon request, special sizes can be produced to suit the needs of non-standard footprint of equipment.

Non-combustible panels consisting of Calcium-Sulphate can be offered.

Different surface coverings can also be offered, including vinyl, natural linoleum and rubber.
